Revitalising the Forth and Clyde Canal
Our Approach
To ensure that sustainability in its widest sense lies at the heart of all of its business, the Partnership has adopted a Sustainable Regeneration Charter which is founded upon the three inter-related themes of:
- Regeneration, (People)
- Environmental Performance, (Climate Change)
- Waterside Urban Design, (Places)
This is a key tool in assisting the Partnership achieve its Vision. A copy of the Charter can be downloaded here.
In response to these policies and principles, a Project Sustainability Plan for the entire canal corridor area is being prepared to act as an over-arching guide to all day to day activities carried out by the Partnership.
This is being prepared with the kind assistance of our friends at Kevin Murray Associates, Sust, Halcrow Yolles and JM Architects. The Partnership extends its thanks to each for the support given and looks forward to continuing the relationship over the coming years
